The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the Practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

The Office Manager assists the Practice Manager in the daily running of the Practice and manages the provision of Occupational Health Services
The Pharmacist offers support to patients and the clinicians in respect of all prescribed medications. The Pharmacist's role is to optimise the pharmaceutical care provided to patients and to promote safe, rational and cost effective prescribing within the Practice. This includes medication reviews and advice directly with patients or through GPs and other professionals.

The District Nurses based at Hawkhill are available to provide nursing care for those patients who are housebound. Care for these patients is generally arranged by the doctor, nevertheless should you wish to contact the district nurses by telephone, call 01382 740188, where a message can be left on their answering service between 08:00 and 16:00.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
